The climatologist warned about warming in the summer in Russia by 2-3 degrees
Over the next 50 years, the average summer temperature in Russia will rise by at least 2-3 degrees. This was announced on July 14 by Alexey Kokorin, climate expert at the Nature and People Foundation.
"If we compare the trends that have been in the previous few decades, based on the forecasts of the Main Geophysical Observatory for the next decades, then our summer should become warmer, 2-3 degrees over the next 50 years are guaranteed," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Kokorin also noted that over the past 50 years, the average temperature in Russia has already become about 2 degrees higher. According to him, somewhere it feels much warmer than it was before.
Earlier in the day, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that cloudy weather with clarifications, short-term rain, up to +30 degrees is expected in the capital region on July 14. There will also be thunderstorms in some areas.
