The governor's assistant was arrested on charges of fraud in Stavropol

The Leninsky District Court of Stavropol has arrested the assistant governor of the region for a month and a half, he is accused of fraud on an especially large scale. This was announced on July 13 by the court's press service.

"The court concluded that the investigator's request was satisfied and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the accused citizen D. <...> until August 25, 2025," the court said in a statement on its website.

The official is accused of fraud committed by a group of people by prior agreement on a particularly large scale. According to the investigation, in 2022, the assistant to the governor and other persons ensured the participation and victory of Selma LLC in an electronic auction for the conclusion of a state contract for the organization and holding of the All-Russian creative festival of working youth "At Height".

It is specified that the contract was concluded at an inflated cost. The difference in price, amounting to 19.7 million rubles, was stolen by intruders.

Vladislav Loginov was charged with accepting a bribe of more than 180 million rubles.

The head of the Karabudakhkentsky district of Dagestan, Mahmud Amiraliev, was detained on July 5 in a fraud case. According to the investigation, he offered the director of a commercial organization to conclude a contract for 20% of its cost for the construction of a water pipeline for the villages of the district. As a result, the total amount of stolen funds exceeded 56 million rubles.
