The United States called the new sanctions against Russia ineffective

Washington's new sanctions against Moscow will be "stupid and ineffective." This was announced on June 13 by American analyst Will Shriver.

This is how he commented on the statement by US President Donald Trump regarding the new anti-Russian sanctions.

"Trump has no cards against Russia. Additional sanctions will be as stupid and ineffective as all those they have already tried," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In addition, Shriver pointed out the impossibility of military escalation with Russia.

Sanctions are no longer relevant

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on July 10 that the adoption of a bill on new US sanctions against Russia would not fundamentally affect Russia's course. He stressed that Moscow has learned how to successfully resist sanctions.

On July 9, Trump said that the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions depends solely on him. He added that he is closely following the process around the relevant bill in the US Congress.
