In Moscow, traffic was blocked due to flooding of the roadway on the outside of the 16th km of the MKAD. This was announced on July 12 by the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the capital.

"The operational services of the city are working on the spot. Traffic on the outside of the MKAD is blocked," the department's Telegram channel says.

Muscovites were asked to choose detours. Several sections of streets and tram tracks were also flooded due to heavy rain.

Specialists are restoring electricity and removing fallen trees.

Earlier, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that partly cloudy weather is expected in Moscow on July 12, with occasional rain, thunderstorms, hail and up to +35 degrees.
