A 122-year-old temperature record has been broken in Moscow.
On Saturday, July 12, a record temperature of 122 years ago was recorded in Moscow - the air in the capital warmed up to +34.6 degrees. This was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
"The record of 122 years ago has just been broken: in 1903, the temperature in Moscow was +34.5 degrees, now it is +34.6 degrees," he told TASS.
As noted by "Gazeta.Ru," Vilfand added, such a temperature is extreme, but in the coming days the thermometer will creep down.
On July 10, Rospotrebnadzor advised to follow the drinking regime to avoid overheating. In addition, if there is an air conditioner, the temperature should be kept at 24-25 degrees.
