Russia does not take into account the fantasies of the European Union (EU) to create a kind of corps of multinational forces to protect Ukraine. This was announced on July 12 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song-hee in Wonsan.

According to the head of the department, Russia is not interested in such plans of European countries.

"We do not take seriously the various fantasies put forward by those who want to somehow sparkle in the international arena and are not going to discuss them," Lavrov said.
