The Coalition of the Willing has published the main provisions of the document following the results of the first day of the meeting in Rome. The meeting was chaired by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. What kind of help the Kiev regime can get and what the European "hawks" were talking about is in the Izvestia article.

The triangle of "willing"

The next meeting of the "coalition of the willing" was held in Rome under the British and French chairmanship. For the first time, the meeting was attended by representatives of the American side — Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and Senator Lindsey Graham. However, even for their sake, neither Prime Minister Keir Starmer nor French President Emmanuel Macron personally came, but communicated from London via video link.

The result of the first meeting was the plan of the "coalition of the willing", which establishes provisions for further assistance to Ukraine, the details of which began to leak out with the light hand of the British government.

According to a statement by Cyrus Starmer, quoted by The Guardian, in the coming days and weeks, support for Ukraine will be strengthened, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces may receive new weapons. "It is clear that the more we do to counter Russian aggression, the safer the British people, our allies and the Euro—Atlantic region will be," the British prime minister summed up.

The agreements reached by the "Coalition of the Willing" were also noted by Emmanuel Macron, stressing that Britain and France would continue to support the Kiev regime. He also said that the Americans are preparing to impose additional sanctions, and the 18th package of EU sanctions is in the final stages of development.

Recall that at the EAEU summit on June 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about another "package" of European sanctions. According to him, the Russian economy continues to grow successfully, despite attempts by the West to "bury" it, while the situation in the European economy leaves much to be desired.

As for the course of the special military operation, the armed forces of the Russian Federation have a strategic advantage in all directions and are conducting daily offensives along the entire front line. Putin said this on June 19 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Ukraine with European sauce

The support for Ukraine presented in the plan of the "coalition of the willing" will allegedly consist of both air and naval participation in order to restore Ukraine's combat capability, as well as work "on the ground."

Starmer and Macron announced their readiness to send up to 50,000 peacekeepers to Ukraine after the conclusion of a truce with Russia. It is assumed that the mission will include patrolling the airspace and the Black Sea, as well as assistance in the restoration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This contingent is planned to form the basis of an international coalition of more than 30 countries providing assistance to Kiev. The implementation of the plan, according to them, is possible within a few hours after the signing of the ceasefire agreement.

The coalition's struggle against Russia's "shadow fleet" was also discussed.

The main topic of the meeting is to increase the supply of ammunition to Kiev and stimulate the Ukrainian defense industry. The Russian Embassy in Rome assessed how much this is possible for European countries.

"Italy, with its unconditional support for the little Kiev Fuhrer, is not only depriving its population and its voters of funds for financing, developing and implementing domestic social programs, but also withdrawing money from the sums promised to the needy countries of the South and East for development, poverty reduction, solving environmental and demographic problems," the message says.

The undisguised intention

Macron's promise to send several tens of thousands of French people to Ukraine can be considered a lifeline, which so far allows him to stay afloat against the background of a catastrophic drop in the rating within the country. The initiative is not new, but the French president recalled it as soon as he arrived in Britain. London supports the idea — Macron clarified that European soldiers are indeed ready to join, becoming another "gear" in the management of the NATO military bloc. The notorious Multinational Force Ukraine may come under their wing, and this is the name the "peacekeeping" contingent will receive.

The Washington Post has already written that the idea of quickly deploying military forces on the territory of Ukraine after the cessation of hostilities is not just an undisguised intention, but a direct consequence of the ceasefire sought by the West and to which Russia has reacted accordingly more than once.

Moscow insists that peace agreements on Ukraine should be comprehensive and long-term, which means that it is necessary to eliminate the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and rely on new territorial realities.

Washington is still "holding its face" and keeping silent, watching its European colleagues — US Senators Richard Blumenthal and Lindsey Graham almost immediately ruled out the presence of American troops on the territory of Ukraine. It is not yet known who else is ready to join the British-French initiative. It is assumed that the operational headquarters of the coalition will be based in Paris, and it will be transferred to London in a year.

Moscow responded immediately to the initiative of Paris and London on peacekeepers. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia sees no way to coordinate the deployment of foreign forces in Ukraine and considers any unilateral actions by the West to be a violation of international law.

And the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service previously stated that the West is preparing to deploy up to 100,000 troops in Ukraine under the guise of a peacekeeping mission. In Moscow, this initiative is considered a de facto occupation of Ukraine.
