Kellogg's daughter predicted a repeat of the "Afghan scenario" in Ukraine for Trump
Under certain circumstances, the conflict in Ukraine may repeat the "Afghan scenario" for US President Donald Trump. Megan Mobbs, the daughter of the United States Special Envoy Keith Kellogg, said this in an interview with The Times newspaper.
Mobbs predicted that if something "catastrophic" happened, or Ukraine lost significantly more territories under Trump, then this conflict could become his "Afghan scenario," the newspaper informs.
Mobbs pointed out that in the future, historians will be interested in the end of the Ukrainian conflict, rather than the circumstances of its beginning. Also, according to her, the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden, is to blame for the deplorable situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The United States of America, which has been in Afghanistan since 2001, began a hasty withdrawal of its troops in early May 2021. It was completed on the night of August 31 of the same year. Commenting on this, Trump called the event the day of the greatest shame in the history of the country.
On September 17, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the withdrawal of US troops and their allies from Afghanistan could be compared to flight. According to him, after the escalation of the situation in Afghanistan, a common and coordinated line of risks is needed.
