Reuters reported on the timing of an agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement plan to reach an agreement on the conflict in the Gaza Strip within one to two weeks. This was reported on July 9 by the Reuters news agency, citing sources.
"Israel and Hamas may be able to reach an agreement on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages within one to two weeks, but such an agreement is not expected to be reached in one day," the agency said in a statement.
This deadline is linked to a statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who intends to propose a permanent ceasefire, hostage exchange and disarmament of the Palestinian group within the framework of the 60-day truce.
Earlier in the day, Hamas agreed to release 10 Israeli hostages during negotiations in Doha. At the same time, it is noted that negotiations on a number of key points are still ongoing.
