Zakharova spoke negatively about new US arms supplies to Ukraine
The resumption of US assistance to the Kiev regime has yet to be assessed by the Russian side. This was announced on July 9 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"Supplies of Western weapons to Ukraine are continuing <...> The consequences of such steps will have to be assessed," Zakharova said at a briefing.
She also added that the continuation of the "pumping" of Ukraine with weapons does not contribute to the settlement of the armed conflict.
The day before, US President Donald Trump announced the transfer of defensive weapons to Ukraine. According to the American leader, it was he who approved these supplies to the Kiev regime.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the line chosen by the West is aimed at contributing in every possible way to the continuation of hostilities.
