Alexander Matsak, the first deputy mayor of Krasnoyarsk, was taken to the investigator for questioning in the criminal case of Vladislav Loginov, the mayor of the city. This was announced on July 9 by a source of Izvestia.

It is reported that the official was brought in for questioning as a witness in a criminal case on corruption.

Later, Matsak himself confirmed to Izvestia that he was with the investigator.

The detention of the mayor of Krasnoyarsk became known on June 9. He was charged with accepting a bribe and a criminal case was opened under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe on an especially large scale").
