The task of resolving the conflict in Ukraine turned out to be more difficult than expected. This was announced on Tuesday, July 8, by US President Donald Trump at a meeting of his cabinet at the White House.
"It turned out to be more difficult," the American leader said, his speech was broadcast on the White House website.
Jakob Paslik, a correspondent for the German NTV channel, said on the same day that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was ready to allow Trump to interfere deeply in Kiev's internal politics. According to the journalist, an example of this approach may be the situation with the Ukrainian ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova, whom Washington intends to replace "because of her sympathies for the Democrats." In addition, Paslik noted that Zelensky "always flatters Trump and praises him."
