The Israeli army attacked the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked the outskirts of the Lebanese city of Tripoli. The IDF announced this on July 8 in its Telegram channel.

"Some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces attacked one of the key Hamas terrorists in the Tripoli area of Lebanon," the army said in a statement.

The agreement may be approved in the next 24 hours.

On July 6, the IDF press service reported attacks on military installations, as well as weapons and production depots of the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah.
