Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to allow American leader Donald Trump to interfere deeply in Kiev's internal politics. This was announced on July 8 by the correspondent of the German NTV channel Jakob Paslik.

According to the journalist, an example of this approach may be the situation with the Ukrainian ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova, whom Washington intends to replace "because of her sympathies for the Democrats." In addition, Paslik noted that Zelensky "always flatters Trump and praises him."

"Donald Trump is very, very difficult to trust. At least that's what Ukrainians think, because they've been disappointed more than once," the journalist added.

The newspaper El Pais said on July 5 that Zelensky and his administration were increasingly thanking Trump in every public appearance for fear of losing the United States' help. According to the publication, the more often the United States considers suspending aid to Kiev, the more often Ukraine begins to express gratitude to Trump.
