Lavrov and the Vietnamese Prime Minister discussed issues on the bilateral agenda
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin discussed issues on the bilateral agenda during their meeting on the sidelines of the XVII BRICS Summit, which is taking place in Rio de Janeiro. This was announced on July 7 on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"In a traditionally friendly and interested manner, issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, as well as the development of the situation in international trade, taking into account the widespread practice of applying unilateral restrictive measures and increased tariffs," the message says.
In addition, the representatives of the States discussed preparations for the October opening ceremony in Hanoi dedicated to the signing of the international convention on combating cybercrime.
During their meeting on the sidelines of the 17th BRICS Summit on July 6, Lavrov and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid special attention to the continuation of their countries' cooperation in unification. It was noted that the ministers also exchanged views on a number of pressing international issues.
