Al Jazeera reported 78 deaths as a result of Israeli strikes on Gaza
At least 78 people have died in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip. This was reported on July 5 by Al Jazeera TV channel.
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has announced plans to send a negotiating team to Qatar to discuss a proposal for a cease-fire in Gaza while Israeli forces continue to launch attacks on the Palestinian enclave. At least 78 people have been killed in the last 24 hours," the TV channel said.
The newspaper, citing the Gaza Ministry of Health, also noted that over the past few weeks, at least 743 Palestinians have been killed and more than 4.8 thousand injured near the points of the Humanitarian Aid Fund for Gaza (GHF), supported by Israel and the United States.
The WAFA news agency, citing medical sources, reported on July 3 that more than 100 Palestinians died as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. It was clarified that 51 of them died while waiting for humanitarian aid.
