Israel announced that it had received a response from Hamas on the truce in Gaza.

Israel has received an official response from the Palestinian Hamas movement on the proposal for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and is currently studying its details. This was announced on July 5 by the Ynet portal, citing sources.
"Israel has confirmed that the Palestinian movement's response has been received, and its details are being studied," the publication said.
An interlocutor of the portal, close to Hamas, said that it was important for the movement to obtain a guarantee of continued negotiations after the 60 days of the truce. In addition, the response states the need for the withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops from the Gaza Strip.
On July 4, the Hamas press service announced its readiness to immediately begin a round of negotiations to create a mechanism for implementing the agreement on Gaza.
