A bill has been submitted to the State Duma that sets restrictions on the sale of all types of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. The relevant document was posted on the electronic database of the Lower house of Parliament on July 3.
"For the purpose of comprehensive legal regulation of this problem, it is proposed to establish restrictions on the sale of all types of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21," the explanatory note says.
The author of the bill is Senator Maria Sidukhina.
On May 28, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region passed a law providing for a two-hour reduction in alcohol sales in shops and catering facilities in apartment buildings. It is specified that alcoholic beverages will not be sold from 23:00 to 11:00.
