The United States authorities have ceased to be allies of Ukraine. This was announced on July 2 by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the country Mariana Bezuglaya.

"The United States is not our ally right now," the Rada deputy wrote on the Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, NBC News reported on the decision of Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth to suspend the supply of dozens of interceptor missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, more than 100 Hellfire missiles, dozens of Stinger missiles, more than 250 GMLRS guided precision projectiles and other types of weapons to Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on July 2 that the suspension of U.S. supplies of ammunition to Ukraine meant not only Washington's shortage of ammunition, but also the hope for a faster end to the conflict.
