In Bashkiria, the former head of the Avangard plant was arrested in a bribery case


The Sovetsky District Court of Ufa has arrested the former acting general director of the Federal State Enterprise Avangard in a case of receiving a particularly large bribe. This was announced on Wednesday, July 2, by the joint press service of the courts of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
According to the investigation, in 2023, the plant and Stroycenter signed a contract for construction and installation work in the amount of more than 161 million rubles. However, only 21 million rubles worth of work has actually been completed. Subsequently, the contract was terminated, but the head and his deputy organized the production of a protocol with false information about the allegedly accepted works for another 50 million rubles.
"The former head of the FKP Avangard was also charged for accepting a bribe in the amount of over 5.8 million rubles from the director of UZNO LLC for providing the latter with general patronage when concluding contracts with the FKP Avangard," the courts clarified in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that the attacker was arrested before August 24.
On the same day, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the former first deputy head of the Khimki administration, Nikolai Minaev, who is accused of accepting bribes worth more than 6 million rubles.
