The former first deputy head of Khimki was arrested in absentia in a case of receiving a bribe

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow has arrested in absentia the former first deputy head of the Khimki administration, Nikolai Minaev, who is accused of accepting bribes worth more than 6 million rubles. The relevant decision was published on the portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital on July 2.

"The request for a preventive measure in the form of detention has been granted," the file says.

On June 27, Minaev was charged under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe by an official committed on an especially large scale"). According to investigators, in the period from March to June of this year, the man received funds from the directors of several companies totaling 6 million 40 thousand rubles for the conclusion of municipal contracts. The ex-deputy head of Khimki was put on the wanted list.

On June 26, it was reported that Yulia Logvinenko, the head of the Kolpino district administration, and Dmitry Kohno, the head of the Kolpino Municipal Administration, were detained on suspicion of corruption in St. Petersburg. A criminal case was initiated under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
