The Ukrainian authorities and media publish videos and photos of Russian prisoners of war in order to intimidate Russian citizens. This was announced on July 2 by Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Republic of Crimea.

"Their behavior is akin to the insane aggression of a rabid dog, because this is exactly what the Western world, who trained them with a whip and biscuits, was trying to intimidate with neo—Nazi savage cruelty, sowing panic in the hearts of Russians," TASS quoted him as saying.

At the same time, according to Sheremet, the plans of the Kiev regime failed, and Russia consolidated and rallied.

Earlier, on June 1, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova, called on the world to condemn the Kiev regime after the UN Human Rights Office (HRHR) recognized the facts of human rights violations.
