5.1 magnitude earthquake recorded off the coast of Japan


An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 was recorded off the coast of Japan, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported on Monday, July 1.
According to her, the seismic event occurred at 19:32 UTC (22:32 Moscow time) 99 km north of the village of Tatsugo (Kagoshima Prefecture), where at least 5,700 people live. The source of the tremors was at a depth of 10 km.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was registered in Pakistan on June 29. It was clarified that the tremors occurred 57 km northeast of the city of Barkhan and 91 km northwest of the city of Dera Ghazi Khan with a population of 236 thousand people.
