The prosecutor's office sent the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus to the court

Prosecutors have approved the indictment in the case of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert Hall and sent it to the 2nd Western District Military Court for consideration. This was reported to Izvestia on July 1 by Igor Trunov, the victims' lawyer.

"The prosecutor's office approved it and sent it to the 2nd Western District Military Court for consideration. There are 427 volumes in the case," the lawyer noted.

On June 29, the accused of the terrorist attack stated that the organizer and the customer of the crime were the Ukrainian special services. It also follows from his testimony that the perpetrators created a legend that the attack was allegedly initiated by the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation).

At least 27 defendants are involved in the case of the terrorist attack on March 22, 2024.

In March, Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, announced the completion of investigative actions in the criminal case of the terrorist attack in Crocus in less than a year. On June 23, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Petrenko, announced that the investigation into the terrorist attack had been completed.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building, they started shooting and set fire to the concert hall. As a result of the attack, 149 people were killed and 609 injured.
