Roscosmos State Corporation on Monday, June 30, presented a photo of cyclone Cornelius, which caused heavy rains in Moscow.

"The North Atlantic cyclone Cornelius hit the capital and brought cold weather and heavy rains to Moscow. We dress warmer and wait for good weather," says a post on the Roscosmos Telegram channel.

It is specified that the cyclone images were taken by the Electro-L and Arktika-M satellites.

Earlier, on June 29, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that about half of the monthly precipitation rate would fall in Moscow in a week. According to him, the rains are associated with the North Atlantic cyclone Cornelius, which is shifting in a southeasterly direction and will overcome 1,000 km per day.
