The French authorities are doing the wrong thing by allocating billions to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the European Union (EU) and reducing medical support for their citizens. This was announced on June 30 by the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot.

"It's unbelievable! While Zelensky is being allocated new billions, and next year another 6 billion for the EU, Tom Fatom, director of the National Health Insurance Fund, announces that cancer will no longer be taken care of "during remission phases," while often difficult treatments remain! It's monstrous!" the party leader wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter), posting a video of Fatom's performance on RTL radio station.

The leader of the Patriots party noted on June 29 that Paris needs to stop "writing checks" to Kiev, ruining its own coffers. According to the politician, such assistance has become very difficult and problematic for the country.

French Agriculture Minister Annie Genevar said on May 19 that France could not provide assistance to Ukraine at the cost of harming its own economy. She clarified that reasonable assistance consists in support that is useful for the Ukrainian side and does not destabilize French production.
