As a result of the accident in the Zhigalovsky district of the Irkutsk region on June 30, residents of five settlements were left without electricity. This was announced by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region on its website.

"280 private residential buildings have been shut down, housing 1,014 people, 201 of them children," the publication says.

They added that five socially significant facilities were without electricity.

Currently, the restoration team, consisting of four people and two pieces of equipment, is carrying out work to restore electricity.
