Two people died in an accident in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, two people died as a result of a collision between a Honda car and a ZAZ car. This was announced on Sunday, June 29, by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the region.

"After the collision, the Honda car was thrown into a public transport stop, where people were at that moment," the agency said in a Telegram post.

Two more people, including a minor, were injured and hospitalized.

A task force is working on the spot, the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia added.

Earlier that day, two children were killed in a collision between a car and two trucks in the Mikhailovsky district of the Volgograd region. According to the investigation, children born in 2015 and 2018 were transported in the cabin without special restraints.
