Footage of the moment of an accident with a taxi that hit a child in Odintsovo has been published

The moment of a fatal accident in the courtyard of an apartment building in Odintsovo, Moscow region, during which a taxi driver hit an eight-year-old boy, was recorded by video cameras. Izvestia publishes footage from the scene of the emergency.

They show that the child was on the playground in the courtyard of an apartment building on Triumfalnaya Street with another boy. After that, he walked away from his friend and tried to quickly run across the street at the entrance, but a taxi car came at him from around the bend.

The boy ended up under the wheels. The driver stopped and immediately entered the roadway. Witnesses of the incident ran up to help the child.

The death of a child in Odintsovo after being hit by a car became known earlier on June 28. The child died from his injuries in the ambulance. Traffic police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

The press service of the Regional Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia reported that a criminal case has been opened into the death of the boy for violating traffic rules, which caused the death of a person by negligence (Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
