A powerful 5.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Pakistan.


An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred in Pakistan 57 km northeast of the city of Barkhan and 91 km northwest of the city of Dera Ghazi Khan with a population of 236 thousand people. This was announced on June 29 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The earthquake occurred on June 28 at 22:24 (June 29 at 01:24 Moscow time). The hearth was located at a depth of 10 km.
There is currently no information about casualties or damage.

Earlier in the day, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 5.5 was recorded in Guatemala. Aftershocks were felt in several departments of the country at once.
