A man who tried to shoot his acquaintance on Leninsky Prospekt was detained

In Moscow, law enforcement agencies detained a man who shot his friend with a military pistol on Leninsky Prospekt. This was reported on June 28 in the Moscow investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the investigation, the attacker fired at least three shots from a military pistol at his friend during the conflict. The victim was assisted. The man was promptly hospitalized in one of the capital's hospitals, where he received medical care.

A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Attempted murder") and Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal trafficking of firearms").

At least 58 shots were recorded in total.

On June 26, it was reported that the police detained two participants in the shooting in the city of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk region. They were given a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months. A mass brawl with the use of weapons near one of the cafes in the Irkutsk region occurred on June 21. As a result of the incident, two people aged 39 and 46 were taken to a local hospital.
