Sergei Sobyanin congratulated Moscow graduates on their successful graduation

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Friday, June 27, congratulated the graduates of the capital on graduation.

"Guys, congratulations on this important event! A new adult life is coming, and an incredible number of opportunities are opening up. Go ahead boldly, you are the future of our country and our pride," the mayor's Telegram message reads.

Sobyanin added that at least 780 eleventh graders became winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad.

This year, more than 70,000 eleventh-graders and 115,000 ninth-graders celebrate graduation in the capital. For the first time, the celebration is taking place at VDNKH, where more than 50 performers, whom the students themselves have chosen, will perform.

How are the preparations for the main alumni holiday going?

On June 22, the Scarlet Sails Alumni Celebration was held in Mariupol, where over a hundred former schoolchildren gathered. The culmination of the event was the passage of the snow-white yacht Assol under scarlet sails as a symbol of a bright future.
