Kohno official arrested in St. Petersburg in case of receiving a bribe


Dmitry Kohno, the head of the local administration of the Kolpino municipality, was arrested for two months in a case of receiving a bribe. This was reported on June 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Kolpinsky district court.
It is noted that the official will stay in jail until August 25.
Yulia Logvinenko, the head of the Kolpinsky district administration in St. Petersburg, who is also accused of taking bribes, was placed under house arrest for two months. Logvinenko was banned from using the phone and the Internet, except for emergency calls, as well as from communicating with any persons involved in the criminal case.
A similar measure was chosen for Oleg Lapotko, who is accused in this case of mediation in bribery. All three meetings were held behind closed doors.
The detention of Logvinenko and Kohno became known on June 26. According to law enforcement agencies, officials through an intermediary received funds in the amount of at least 9.2 million rubles from the general director of the company, who carried out landscaping work on the territory of Kolpino. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe by an official on an especially large scale").
It is noted that the amount of the bribe was at least 9.2 million rubles, the money was confiscated: from Logvinenko — at his workplace, and from Kohno — at his place of residence. The defendants fully admitted their guilt. In addition, Oleg Milyuta, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, who is involved in the case of two officials, was detained on June 27.
