Most Republicans would support Vice President J. D. Vance in the event of his hypothetical participation in the primaries before the US presidential election in 2028. This is stated on June 27 in a study by Emerson College Polling.

"46% of Republican voters participating in the primaries support Vice President J. D. Vance in a hypothetical 2028 vote," the publication says.

It is noted that 12% of respondents support US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, 9% are supporters of Florida Governor Ron De Santis, and 5% support the candidacy of Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. In the 2028 Democratic Party primaries, the majority of voters (16%) would support the candidacy of former Transportation Minister Pete Buttigieg.

It is specified that at the moment 42% of ordinary voters would support the candidate from the Democratic Party, and a similar proportion — from the Republican Party. At the same time, 16% were undecided.

The Daily Mail newspaper reported on June 26 that the approval rating of US President Donald Trump remained unchanged after the strikes on Iran. His approval rating is reported to be 47% in the new poll, the same as in the previous poll on June 6.
