Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that sunny and dry weather is expected in the Moscow region over the weekend, with daytime temperatures of +20...+22 degrees.

In an interview with Radio 1 on Friday, June 27, the meteorologist noted that rains are possible in the second half of Sunday, and from Monday, June 30, a cold snap will begin — the temperature will drop to +15 degrees, prolonged precipitation will take place.

This weather will last until July 2, after which a sharp warming is expected — on July 3 and 4, the thermometer may rise to +26 ... 28 degrees.

Earlier on June 27, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, predicted warm weather in Moscow in July. The first week of July, according to Pozdnyakova, will not bring sustained heat to the metropolitan region.

On June 26, forecaster Pozdnyakova said that June in the capital would end with a negative temperature anomaly.
