- Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Milyuta was detained in St. Petersburg in a case of bribes.

Oleg Milyuta, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, was involved in the case of receiving bribes by officials of the Kolpinsky district. This was announced on June 27 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the city.
According to investigators, Milyuta was part of a criminal scheme together with the head of the Kolpino district administration, Yulia Logvinenko, and the head of the Kolpino municipal administration, Dmitry Kohno, receiving bribes through an intermediary from the director of a commercial organization engaged in the improvement of the Kolpino district.
"For the period from December 2024 to June of this year, the defendants received at least 14.2 million rubles," the department's Telegram channel clarified.
Milyuta was detained after handing over the next part of the bribe, and money was found in his possession during the search. The issue of charging the deputy and choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved.
The detention of Logvinenko and Kohno was reported the day before. A criminal case was initiated under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe by an official committed on an especially large scale"). An investigation is currently underway to establish other episodes of criminal activity.
