On June 26, the FSB's Public Relations Center published footage of the detention of a Russian woman in St. Petersburg, who was investigating the residence of Russian military personnel on behalf of the Ukrainian special services.

It is noted that the woman contacted the Ukrainian coordinators through the WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) and transmitted information about the location of military personnel, their family members and personal transport.

Currently, she has been given a preventive measure in the form of detention.

A criminal case has also been opened against the defendant under Part 3 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Complicity in the commission of a terrorist act").

The Russian woman was detained for aiding and abetting the special services of Ukraine earlier that day. The 48-year-old detainee also admitted that her task was to find out the location of buildings, entrances, exits and the presence of cars in the parking lot on the territory of the Russian military.
