The prosecutor's office reported on the condition of the victims of the gas explosion in the Sverdlovsk region.

On June 26, the Prosecutor's Office of the Sverdlovsk region reported on the condition of seven injured and hospitalized as a result of the fire in the department.

"According to preliminary data, six people were injured as a result of the explosion — neighbors living in the immediate vicinity of the apartment where the incident occurred. The victims were hospitalized in the city hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of carbon monoxide poisoning, hypertensive crisis as a reaction to stress," the agency said in its Telegram channel.

According to the prosecutor's office, various versions of the incident are currently being considered. The prosecutor's office said that an inspection will be carried out to ensure that the housing rights of the residents of the house are respected.

"Several apartments were damaged in the house. Experts will assess the stability of the house's structures after this incident," the prosecutor's office said.
