Jeff Bezos, the founder and owner of the aerospace company Blue Origin, is trying to capitalize on the conflict between US President Donald Trump and billionaire SpaceX founder Elon Musk. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on June 25, citing sources.

"The smoldering feud between President Trump and Elon Musk puts forward a potential winner: Jeff Bezos. The founder of Blue Origin spoke with Trump at least twice this month, and the CEO of the space company, Dave Limp, came to the White House to meet with Trump's chief of staff," the publication says.

It is noted that during the meetings, aspects of cooperation between the US government and Bezos on the space issue were discussed. For example, about the possibility of government funding and launching a manned space mission to the Moon, which will have to be carried out during Trump's presidential term.

Earlier, on April 14, Blue Origin's New Shepard ship with singer Katy Perry and American entrepreneur Jeff Bezos' fiancee Lauren Sanchez successfully flew at an altitude of 100 km above the Earth.
