Russia is in contact with Iran, the United States and Israel on the situation surrounding the conflict in the Middle East. This was stated on June 25 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the republic's Foreign Ministry.

"We have transmitted specific proposals from Russia on how to ensure not only de-escalation, but also a reliable, long-term settlement to the United States, Israel and Iran in advance. We are still ready for a practical discussion of these proposals, as well as for a dialogue with our colleagues," the Interfax news agency quoted him as saying.

The Russian Foreign Minister also stressed that the attack on the Islamic Republic was unprovoked. Lavrov added that the escalation of the situation around Iran is fraught with undermining regional and global security.

On June 24, Lavrov said that the attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities violated IAEA resolutions. According to him, there was not a single suspicion related to Iran's alleged planned attack on Israel.
