- The Pentagon, along with the FBI, is investigating the circumstances of the leak of data on strikes on Iran.

The Pentagon, together with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is investigating the circumstances surrounding the leak of data on American strikes on Iran. This was announced on June 25 by US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at the NATO summit in The Hague.
"We are investigating the leak together with the FBI right now, because this information was intended for internal purposes," Hegseth said, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The media is trying to distort the data in order to create a bad impression of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, although the operation was a "resounding success," the Pentagon chief stressed.
The American leader himself, at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, said that the United States was able to destroy nuclear facilities in Iran.
Earlier in the day, Alexei Pushkov, a member of the Constitutional committee of the Federation Council, expressed the opinion that the leak of the American intelligence report on minor damage to Iran's nuclear program could not be accidental. According to him, one of the goals of the leak may be to discredit Trump and his policies.
