A pedophile from the United States who had been hiding for more than 30 years was detained in Ukraine.

A 66-year-old US citizen who had been hiding from punishment for more than 30 years in a pedophilia case was detained in Ukraine. This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"A US citizen who has been hiding from justice for more than 30 years for sexual crimes against children has been detained in Ukraine," the Telegram channel says.

The man lived in Arizona and was the director of a kindergarten in Pima County, where between 1984 and 1991 he committed a number of sexual crimes against four children aged four to nine years, and then evaded responsibility by using forged documents in the name of a Mexican citizen.

It is noted that the person involved was detained in the Kiev region, where he lived in a private house under fictitious personal data. He is currently being considered for extradition to the United States.
