More than 700 suspected Israeli spies have been detained in Iran.

Over 700 spies and mercenaries were arrested by the Iranian authorities during the 12 days of the armed conflict with Israel. This was reported by the Fararu newspaper on June 25.

"Since the beginning of the Israeli attack on Iran, an espionage network has intensified in the country <...>. Over 700 of them were arrested in 12 days," the publication says.

According to the newspaper's analysis of the news, over the past 12 days, most of the arrests were made in the provinces of Kermanshah (126 spies), Isfahan (76 spies), Khuzestan (62 spies), Fars (53 spies) and Lorestan (49 spies).

Earlier, on June 25, the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Peseshkian, announced Israel's "terrible price" for aggression against Iran. He also believes that the large number of destruction and destruction of important facilities and centers in Israel has demonstrated to the whole world that the price of "adventurism against the great country of Iran is terrible."
