The Palestinian leadership has demanded a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip after the conflict between Iran and Israel ends. This was reported by the WAFA agency on June 24.

"We demand the completion of this step (the end of the conflict between Iran and Israel. — Ed.) by achieving a ceasefire that includes the Gaza Strip in order to alleviate the suffering of our people and stop the killing and starvation," the appeal says.

The Palestinian leadership stressed that a cease-fire in Gaza would contribute to achieving security and stability in the region.

Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump announced the entry into force of an agreement related to a complete cease-fire between Israel and Iran. He also called on the countries not to violate the truce.
