The Iranian Foreign Minister spoke about the meeting with Putin.


The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi lasted for about two hours and focused on the situation in the Middle East.
"Today I had a serious and good meeting with Mr. Putin, it was long—lasting - it lasted about two hours. We discussed the attacks, as well as diplomatic steps," Araqchi told the Iranian state television and radio company IRIB on June 23.
The Iranian minister also informed Putin about the negotiations with France, Great Britain and Germany on the atomic issue that took place in Geneva on June 20. In turn, the Russian leader suggested discussing existing ideas about the situation, as well as further actions.
On the same day, Putin, during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, said that the attacks on Iran were an unprovoked aggression that had no justification. He added that against the background of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, the Russian side is making efforts to assist the Iranian people.
