Zakharova reacted to the IAEA's statement about the US attack on Iran

On June 22, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on a statement by Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA), made against the backdrop of US strikes on Iranian territory.
Grossi earlier called for returning to the negotiating table as soon as possible and allowing international inspectors to visit Iranian nuclear facilities. In response, Zakharova said that on the very day when this call was made, "missiles hit the negotiating table."
"It was hard not to see where they came from. Why are all the statements smoothed out and depersonalized this time?" she wrote on her Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. The ministry stressed that this irresponsible decision grossly violates the UN Charter.
On June 22, US President Donald Trump announced that the US attack was aimed at three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that American strikes could change history.
