A large nuclear complex in Iran's Isfahan has been attacked by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for the second time in the last nine days. This was announced on June 21 by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (MGATE), Rafael Grossi.

"The large nuclear complex in Isfahan has been attacked for the second time during Israeli attacks on Iran in the last nine days, and several other buildings have been damaged," the IAEA said in a statement on its website.

It is specified that as a result of the attack, six buildings were damaged, including two factories, a building for the production of tablets from low-enriched uranium and a workshop for working with contaminated equipment. In addition, two laboratories and an office were damaged.

On the same day, the Iranian Fars news agency announced an attack on the nuclear complex in Isfahan. Later, the head of MGATE noted that the attack on this facility would have no radiological consequences. On June 13, Grossi announced the first strike on the nuclear complex in Isfahan. At that time, the central chemical laboratory, the uranium conversion plant, the reactor fuel production plant and the enriched uranium metal processing plant under construction were damaged.
