5.1 magnitude earthquake recorded in Iran
An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in the northern part of Iran. This was confirmed on June 20 by data on the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
It is specified that the epicenter of the seismic event was located 36 km northwest of the city of Semnan, where about 124 thousand people live. The hearth was located at a depth of 10 km.

On June 16, the Iranian Seismological Center reported that 2.5 magnitude tremors were recorded in the Iranian province of Qom in the central part of Iran in the area of the Fordo nuclear facility.
