The UK evacuated the staff of the embassy in Iran

The UK has evacuated embassy staff in Iran due to the escalation between Israel and the Islamic Republic. This was reported on June 20 by The Times of Israel newspaper with reference to the British government.
"We have taken precautionary measures to temporarily withdraw British personnel from Iran," the newspaper quoted the message as saying.
It is clarified that this decision is temporary, and the embassy will continue to work remotely.
On June 15, The Telegraph newspaper, citing sources, reported that Britain had evacuated the families of its diplomats from the Islamic Republic shortly before the start of the Israeli attack on Iran. According to the newspaper, family members of the diplomats left the country at the same time as the evacuation of some American officials shortly before the Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Before that, on June 13, Israel struck Iran and declared a state of emergency. Netanyahu said that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
