The head of the Ministry of Justice Chuychenko suggested sending divorced spouses to a mediator.

Families in the process of divorce need to introduce mandatory mediation at the legislative level. This was announced on June 20 by the head of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuichenko on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

"As for mediation between citizens, of course, it seems to me that this is a story that deserves support. It seems to me that mandatory mediation should be introduced at the legal level, primarily in family matters," Chuychenko said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to him, this method will allow the spouses to sort out the conflict and save the family.
